Rise of Trumpism

No one at the time really saw it coming. To reminisce, let’s take a step back in time to the beginning of the 2016 election cycle, when Trump threw his hat in the ring again and we all just snickered and said, “Here he goes again.” Who really took it seriously? As time went on, the media pundits continued to ponder and question: “Maybe not even Trump himself.” With every crude comment, or inappropriate gesture…or tweet, the question remained the same. But still, his support just grew…and grew. For once, there was a candidate who acknowledged freely, with little filter, the same concerns as the average American, and didn’t back down. While there were more logical candidates for the people who felt disgusted, disenfranchised, and misrepresented in America by the Obama administration, Leftists, and the media, most of those candidates had a history of failing to act on promises made. Trump became the wildcard that many people felt forced to play, some to reject the direction this country took during the 8 Obama years, others to say, “you RINOS screwed me, screw you!” The silent majority could be silent no more. Those on the other side, who wanted the American Socialist Republic, pushed hard for Bernie. Socialism-loving citizens were shocked at the primary fixing abilities of Clinton and the current administration. The Trumpers weren’t surprised at all. They were all too familiar with media’s hatchet job on anyone or anything that didn’t follow the agenda of the Left and were all too aware of the shenanigans going on in the Obama White House and with Hillary.

During the campaigning, while watching mainstream media, I just shook my head, “They just don’t get it.” Every news program centered around sound bites, theories, rationalizations, and guest appearances of leftists spouting their certainty that Trump was a fascist, Nazi, racist, homophobic, Islamophobic, KKK loving, anti-woman sexual predator who wanted to wage genocidal war on everyone except for his ignorant, uneducated, racist followers in order to have some kind of Puritanical society existing of only rich or stupid white people. Every hour, every segment, the same agenda-based reporting feeding right into Trump’s point and the minds of already pissed off Americans proving and defining the “why” voting for Trump was needed to be heard and solidifying the resolve. Reject the status quo; it’s now or never. The scorekeepers gave him a 1% chance of winning.

After the 2016 election, the stupidity didn’t stop. It was only magnified. Miley crying, celebrities tweeting, leftists rioting destroying property and injuring people…a call to overthrow the processes of our Republic…all because leftist voters, legal and illegal, looking out from their blue bubbles, didn’t get their way. The rest of Americans just shook their heads at the temper tantrums and wondered if these bubble heads were really that blind to the lives of everyday citizens of America, or were they just so filled with self-importance and narcissism that they believed no one could possibly have a different perspective than their own unless they were just pure imbeciles. Fast forward to 2020, little had changed. We had all endured 4 years of the Democrats plot to overthrow the Presidency with fake accusations and impeachments. The same lies were circulating, because the Left stands by the notion if you repeat a lie often enough it becomes truth. The Plandemic had catapulted us into an alternate reality. Patriotic Americans continued to support Trump to try to save this country. Leftist hatred spewed from every crevice. Democrat politicians, media pundits, anarchists, Hollywood celebrities continued to threaten the rest of us, proclaiming that they would hunt us down, bag and tag us, destroy every town until they got their way. “F**k Trump! Death to America!” became the tagline of the Left; their domestic terrorist anarchists, BLM and Antifa, called to action. Ignoring their own hypocrisy, the Left and Deep State government continued to plot their revenge. They would further their agenda, one way or the other.
